Ella Umbrella Brooklyn Rescue Umbrella

NONE OF THE 20 CATS REMOVED FROM BARBARA BERGER'S HOME WERE RETURNED because they have been adopted outright or fostered!
There is a small band of really good people surrounding me who believe in the Rescue Umbrella and what we stand for. I am fortunate also to have met so many generous people - patrons of Petco - who encourage me to continue this work when the going feels too much for me.
We are returning to our regular hours of friday 4-8 pm and sat/sun 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. this weekend.
Our cages are set up in the back of the store in the dog food aisle.
5 cats went to North Shore; 11 have been adopted; 4 are in foster care. 25 are still with Barbara and more than half of them are scared or feral. many of those remaining with her need vet care for upper respiratory problems. The remaining cats have diahhrea from sensitive stomachs.
I can't do anything more without foster homes and people who are willing to work with these scared and debilitated cats - diahhrea leads to dehydration.
Do you have a basement where we can set up 2 cages while we recuperate; resocialize a scared cat and hold it between adoption weekends?

we'll be posting a paypal account for help with vet fees and food/litter. Please join us in this difficult endeavor.  You can send a donation to Dr. Robinson
